To progress alongside the change that currently shapes our everyday lives, my business of private cooking classes has been transitioned online. It has been a transformative past couple of weeks, but I am glad to be able to continue to do my work and have the opportunity to extend my reach globally.
My classes center around a specific recipe every week. Each session is live and self-contained. I pride myself on creating a warm environment that holds no barrier of entry towards your familiarity with cooking - everyone comes out of these classes learning something new, regardless of their expertise! You can see announcements and updates on my classes through my social media, or sign up for my e-mailing list by contacting me through the form below.
As we get closer to the date of the class, you will be e-mailed a Google Calendar Reminder, the recipe, ingredients list, and any pre-lesson tips you might want to consider before the class begins. These lessons will be held on Zoom, and if you have any questions about working with the platform, the class itself or the recipe you've signed up for, I will always be around to help! While I love being able to oversee your progress and cook alongside you, you may also join with just yourself and your senses to watch, take notes, or talk with me and those also attending the class.
$85 $35 USD via Venmo/Paypal per class
In consideration of our current times and my transition online, my current class prices have been reduced from $85 USD to $35 USD. If you are interested but have difficulty paying, I am still deeply interested in your patronage, so e-mail me anyways about your concerns and questions! Now is the time for us to raise one another up as a community. I want these classes to not only be a place of education, but a refuge from the day to day.
Private Events - Pricing Upon Request
Family and teams can be brought together in a class through private, online cooking sessions with me. These will be hosted independently from my regularly scheduled classes, and are great for companies or intimate parties.
I will also be scheduling private online cooking lessons for young students! If you are a school, I would love to collaborate. If you are a parent, feel free to also e-mail me, and we can talk about the ways in which your child can learn the art of cuisine with interactive, professional guidance.
This summer is an incredible time to give young students the possibility of exploring the world while staying at home by way of real-time culinary lessons. Through the practical yet thrillingly abstract nature of food, they can learn that cooking at their age extends beyond creating imagery from ingredients or making sweets. Instead, they engage in food as a multifaceted story encompassing both themselves and the world. Whether they springboard these moments to become chefs themselves or not, there is immense value in having them realize early on how capable they are in alternative ways, with a little help of course.
